Liberal Closet was founded in 2015 by Owen out of his art school dorm room. An avid political junkie and digital designer, Essen decided to create a line of political merchandising in recognition of the epic upcoming 2016 presidential election.
In 2016, Jeff became involved in the company as well. The two now prolifically come up with new bumper stickers to champion various left wing causes, and make fun of Donald Trump.
